QUEENS PARK HOUSE
Alterations & additions to a semi-detached house on a long site.
The building is long & narrow, & to change this perception the design introduces space & sunlight at the centre of the building. The swimming pool is built against a tall freestanding wall, to enclose some space as a foil to the repetitive row of backyards seen from the back of the building.
Details include: combination stair/bookcase; skylights above a glazed floor panel.
